General Submission Guidelines

When submitting, please make sure that the text is using 12pt Times Roman font (except for the title and author names on the first page). Papers should follow a double lined spacing, with margins of 25 mm on all sides.
Please do not use footnotes, and use endnotes instead. Keep all endnotes to a minimum.
Endnotes should be placed at the end of the paper, preceding the references.
As a reminder, competitive papers should be no longer than 26 pages, and working papers 15 pages. Include page numbers, centered, at the bottom of each page.
Submissions must be made electronically (submit as a word format) through the online system.
Each submission should come with an abstract of 150-200 words, with up to six key words. Please do not number paragraphs, headings or sub-headings.



Headings

A main heading, designating the topic of major sections should be centered, bold and capitalized.
Secondary headings: flush with left margin, underlined.
Tertiary headings: flush with left margin, in italics.


Illustrations and Tables

Please supply tables and figures on separate sheets at the end of the article, and indicate clearly their position within the text. For further formatting of artwork, refer to "www.palgrave-journals.com/pal/palgrave_artwork_guidelines.pdf".


References in the text

Citations should follow the Harvard style with (author surname, year of publication). Citations of works by two authors should include both authors' surnames. Citations of works by three or more authors should have the first author follow by et al. in italics with no trailing stop.

References are placed in alphabetical order of authors. Examples of correct forms of references for alphabetical style:
