Submission Procedures (Panels)Further to the call for papers above, panel proposals should follow the same procedures for paper submissions (please see below). Submission Procedures (Papers)There are three types of sessions for individual paper submission. Please select the most appropriate type of session form the following list: Competitive Papers: The most polished papers should be submitted for inclusion in competitive sessions. All competitive paper proposals will be subject to a blind review process. Workshop Papers: Papers in progress should be submitted for inclusion in workshop sessions. PhD Track Papers: PhD candidates and other young scholars are invited to present their work, at various stages of progress (from the proposal stage to post-fieldwork analysis). This is an excellent opportunity for PhD candidates and emerging scholars to present work and receive objective feedback from leading scholars in a supportive environment. Workshop and PhD track session are less formal than those for competitive papers and are designed to provide an opportunity for researchers with shared interests to discuss their work. We encourage not only established scholars but also young/new scholars to present and discuss their research in progress in these sessions. Workshop and PhD track papers will be reviewed by the organizing committee. With reference to all submissions, evaluation will be based on the following criteria: - analytical rigor - methods applied - quality and innovativeness - significance of conclusions - interest to EAMSA members Submissions must be made electronically by email attachment. The preferred word processing program is MS Word (A4, 1.5 line spacing). Competitive papers should be less than 9,000 words inclusive of all material. The word limit for workshop and PhD track papers is 6,000 words. PLEASE NOTE:When submitting your paper or panel proposal please include on a separate cover sheet: - The paper title
- The names(s) and affiliation of the author(s)
- Email and mailing address, as well as other contact details
